My parents, for those of you who were wondering, live in Northern Ohio - just south of Cleveland. I have been taking pictures with my camera to post but just realized earlier today that I forgot the cord to download them to the computer so . . . they will have to wait until I get home. I might be able to convince my mother to let me use her digital camera (which used to be mine before I bought the one I have now) to take come pictures to post.
In the mean time, here is a picture of my parents. This is NOT their yard in Cleveland, Ohio! It isn't the best, close up picture of them but, I couldn't find another "good" one on their computer to show you.
My parents have a very strong case of wanderlust. They worked in Saudi Arabia, as teachers, for almost 9 years and during that time traveled pretty much around the world. The have been to a lot of different places and still like to travel when they get a chance. They have a world map on the wall of their office with pins in every place that they have visited - it looks like a pin smorgasbord!
I believe that I got a lot of my desire to travel from my parents. Now if only I could convince Hubby to travel to the places I want to see! I am wearing him down a little at a time!
This post is a shortie because Hubby and I are off to lunch with some of his former co-workers. This is a feature of every trip north for us and always enjoyable.
Voice Update: I talked A LOT yesterday. My Aunt and Uncle were up and we had a good time. However, my voice was TIRED at the end of the day and I just wanted to be quiet. I think that talking to my friend, Barb, for over an hour had something to do with the fatigue also! I didn't do exercises but I did some massage - probably not enough (of course!) but some! I AM on vacation!
