Hi All!
Can I just say that I find it ironic that my last post was about spammers finding my blog and one of the comments I got on that post was FROM A SPAMMER?!?!
Anyway - hopefully, my distraction is now over. What was it, you may ask? It was a cruise! Yes, Hubby and I were on a cruise around the British Isles and then across the Atlantic to Bermuda and landing at Fort Lauderdale. It was a segment of a world cruise which started (and ends) in Sydney, Australia. We are not quite to the point where we can afford to cruise for 104 days so we only did a 16 day segment!
Hopefully I will have photos for you tomorrow - I haven't gotten them uploaded to the computer yet because life has been busy since we got home.
First of all, Hubby came home with a cough and congestion in his chest (not good!). Then, when we tried to wash clothes, we discovered that the washing machine is the latest in a long line of appliances to die. Next, we realized that our air conditioning wasn't working. AGAIN! Luckily, the guys arrived and fixed it (twice since it stopped working five minutes after they left the first time and they had to return to fix it again!). Finally, I am afraid that I am getting Hubby's illness. I have a "baby" cough and some congestion is getting in my chest.
Boo!
The good news? Today is the day that our new appliances arrive. We are getting both a new oven and a new, high tech washing machine. They are coming from two different places and, with our luck, they will probably arrive at the same time!
I must say that I am looking forward to making a pizza in my new oven and then I am going to do about a million loads of laundry (all of our clothes from the cruise!).
Doesn't that sound like a great way to spend a Thursday?
Oops! Just remembered that I won't be cooking anything in my new oven for a bit since we are having someone different install it and they aren't installing it today. I am not exactly sure when that will happen.
*sigh*
I guess I will just have to go without pizza for a while longer!

Voice Update: My voice is doing pretty well considering I didn't do too much with it while on the cruise. My next appointment with Susan is next Monday (I think) so we will find out how I am really doing then!

I can't wait to see photos of your cruise.
New appliances.. what fun working out how they go!
Cannot wait to see the pictures! My daughter has been on a cruise from the Bahamas to 8 countries in the Mediterranean Sea and back home in three weeks...I miss her so much but know she is having the time of her life. I live vicariously though all you cruisers;)
